• Rack and stack: We pre-wire components as one unit.
• Wiring and testing: We wire blocks and install onto frames and cabinets with 100% testing before shipping.
• Project staging/whole order delivery: We stage material for projects and ship to your site for installation.
• Inventory management software: We assure your product is available at all times by tracking your usage and factors such as seasonal buying trends.
• Storage: We store and manage user-owned material and ship to designated sites as directed.

Applications Engineering Group

We can help you find cost-effective solutions for all of your telecommunications equipment requirements. As an extension to our sales force, the Applications Engineering Group is available to build proposals, provide technical resources, visit customer locations, secure vendor assistance, and research new technologies and products.

Bar-Coding

Power & Tel recognizes the value of operating in a standards-based "open systems" environment. That's why we support the Telecommunications Industry Forum (TCIF) and Utility Industry Group (UIG) regulated, product-labeling standards.

Cable-Cutting Operation

Not only does Power & Tel have a 200,000-sq.-ft. cable warehouse to help meet your cabling needs, we also offer the additional benefit of cable-cutting. For a small charge, we can make sure you receive the cable footage you truly need, when you need it.

Power & Tel is committed to delivering to our customers the right material at the right place at the right time, every time. That's why we support the ASC-X12 standard transaction sets for the exchange of electronic documents. EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) of crucial business-related documents between Power & Tel and its business partners complements our company goals.

Forecasting Software

In addition to their years of experience, our Purchasing Department has an extra tool to ensure the material you need is in stock, when you need it. Our software allows us to track trends related to the purchasing habits of our customers and then forecast the product quantities that we need to have in stock in order to meet your needs.

Global UPS/FedEx Contracts

Power & Tel understands that the reputation of a distributor can be determined by how the shipment to a customer is completed. That is why our transportation department is aligned with the best shipment companies in the business, including UPS and FedEx.

TL 9000-V R3.0/R3.5

Power & Tel meets TL 9000 standards for telecommunications industry-specific best practices. Upon our registration, Power & Tel became one of less than 20 organizations worldwide to be registered in TL 9000's Logistical Services Product Category (product category 7.7).

POS Reporting

We offer our manufacturer partners a monthly Point-of-Sale Report. Using two standardized formats, we are able to provide partners a useful tool in tracking sales.
