Power & Telephone Supply Diversity Mentoring Program

Purpose

The Power & Telephone Supply Diversity Mentoring Program is intended to support the incremental growth of SDVMWBE Business Partner(s) through the promotion of the Partner's core competencies as well as the provision of training and support services to acquire additional skill sets and enhance their value to the telecommunications marketplace.

Introduction

Power & Telephone Supply, a family-owned business founded in 1963, is a "Best in Class" wholesale distribution and logistics company serving a broad range of telecommunications providers and users around the world. The diverse nature of our customer base combined with the state of the art processes and technologies we employ provide for a unique combination of benefits affording the "small and diverse business partner" a warm climate of support to help grow their business.

Many of our large customers have diversity spend mandates to which we are exposed, and this provides us the opportunity to engage SDVMWBE Business Partner(s) in opportunities where they may not have had visibility. Market opportunities range from cable assembly, kitting, rack and stack, design and engineering, distribution, turn up and test, and installation services.

Markets Power & Tel will mentor and partner with our program participants in the following markets: Independent Telecom Companies (RUS) Federal Government Regional Bell Operating Companies Broadband Carriers (MSO's) International Business Wireless State and Local Governments Private Network O.E.M.

Participants This program is limited in size. Power & Tel reserves the right to choose each participant. The process of choosing a participant includes, but is not limited to, the following: Diversity status/certifications Potential participant's business plan Potential participant's desire to be included Potential participant's core business Potential participant's location(s) Number of current participants
